How to Apply a CCU (Ship Upgrade)

If you purchased a Cross Chassis Upgrade (CCU) to transform one ship into another, follow these steps:

  1. Claim the Item: Follow the delivery steps above to add the CCU to your RSI Hangar.
  2. Locate in Hangar: Go to the "My Hangar" section on the RSI website.
  3. Apply Upgrade: Click on the arrow next to your CCU to expand the details. Click the "Apply Upgrade" button. Select the "Source Ship" you wish to upgrade and enter your RSI password to finalize the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does delivery usually take?

  • Star Citizen ship, ccu, paints, items orders are usually delivered within 20–30 minutes. In rare cases, delivery may take up to 12 hours due to order volume, RSI gifting limits, account status, or manual verification requirements.
  • In most cases, we do not allow ship deliveries to exceed 12 hours unless there is an exceptional issue such as RSI system limitations, account restrictions, or required customer verification.

Is my ship order protected?

  • Yes. Security and reliability are our top priorities. All ships sold by LTI Hangar come from our own inventory, with no external sellers or unknown third-party suppliers involved.
  • Each ship order is handled with clear delivery records, allowing the delivery process to be reviewed and traced if support is ever needed. We also provide 6-month after-sale protection for eligible delivery-related issues.
  • This level of own-stock control, traceable delivery, and after-sale protection is not commonly offered by many third-party marketplaces, which is why many customers choose LTI Hangar for safer Star Citizen ship purchases.

What is the 6-month after-sale protection? Why Other Marketplaces Cannot Offer This?

  • In the extremely rare event that an issue occurs with an item during delivery or within up to 6 months after delivery has been completed, we will conduct an investigation. If it is determined that the issue was caused by our fault, we will provide either a replacement or a refund.
  • To help us review the case accurately, you may be required to assist us by providing relevant evidence, such as RSI Hangar screenshots, order details, and RSI Hangar Log records.
  • The RSI Hangar Log can help track the status and history of each ship, including whether the item was claimed, exchanged, melted, transferred, or otherwise changed after delivery. We will review the evidence you provide to determine the cause of the issue.
  • This level of protection is not commonly offered by many third-party marketplaces because they often rely on external sellers or mixed inventory sources. At LTI Hangar, all ships come from our own inventory, and each order has clear delivery records, allowing us to provide safer and more reliable support.

Can I request a refund after claiming the ship, ccu, paints, items?

  • Once the RSI gift has been claimed, the ship, ccu, paints, items becomes bound to the receiving RSI account. Due to the limitations of the Star Citizen gifting system, a claimed ship normally cannot be gifted again, returned, reversed, or re-delivered. For this reason, claimed items are normally not eligible for cancellation or refund.
  • A correction, replacement, or refund may only be provided if we confirm that the issue was caused by our side, such as a wrong item being sent, an order delivery error, or another verified delivery issue caused by us.
  • Before claiming the RSI gift, please make sure you are logged into the correct RSI account. Once the gift is claimed to the wrong account, it normally cannot be moved to another account.

What happens if the wrong ship, ccu, paints, items is delivered?

If we confirm that the wrong item was delivered due to our error, we will review the case and provide a correction, replacement, or refund where applicable. Please contact us with your order number, checkout email, and clear screenshots of your RSI Hangar.

Why are the names of the Star Citizen ships I received different?

Standalone CCU'ed is a complete ship or vehicle. It is not an upgrade! CCU'ed simply means that it was created by upgrading a smaller ship or vehicle to the one you are buying. Please also note that in the gift email, only the ship that was used as the base for upgrading will be named. Please don't worry, the actual ship you will see in your hangar will be the one you've ordered.

For example, this is how a CCU'ed Polaris looks like in hangar on RSI website.

Origin 890 Jump Standalone Ship Gameplay Guide

The Origin 890 Jump is a capital-class luxury touring ship built for Star Citizen players who want comfort, social space, fleet presence, hosting value, and one of the more memorable interiors currently flyable in the game. It is not a starter ship, fighter, cargo-first hauler, military capital ship, or practical daily driver. The 890 Jump is best understood as an Origin flagship yacht: a ship for owners who want to host, travel, command, show status, and move through the ‘verse in luxury.

Official Origin promotional material calls the 890 Jump the truest expression of the Origin name and highlights its atrium, master suite, bar, dining hall, docking plaza, spa, pool, storage hold, battle bridge, professional kitchen, medical bay, crew quarters, and boat bay. Current reference data tracks the 890 Jump as a Flight Ready capital luxury touring ship with 3–8 crew, 388 SCU cargo, 19 beds, one Tier 2 medical bed, 210m length, and current live data under version 4.8.2.

The safest product-page positioning is simple:
The 890 Jump is the Origin ship you choose when luxury, presence, hosting, and flagship ownership matter more than cargo efficiency, combat value, or solo practicality.

Build Your Origin Luxury Fleet with the 890 Jump

The 890 Jump is one of the more direct status ships in Star Citizen. If you are looking to acquire this Origin flagship yacht, you can explore our available options in the Star Citizen Ships and Vehicles Collection.

890 Jump Key Specifications

Specification Origin 890 Jump Gameplay Meaning
Manufacturer Origin Jumpworks Premium luxury manufacturer focused on comfort, design, and high-end travel.
Role Luxury Touring / Capital Yacht Built for luxury travel, hosting, prestige, and fleet presence rather than pure profit.
Status Flight Ready / current gameplay reference Current reference data lists the 890 Jump as Flight Ready, with live data under 4.8.2.
Size Class Capital / S6 A true large ship with capital-scale operating expectations.
Crew 3–8 Best with multiple players for bridge, turrets, security, service, and ship management.
Cargo Capacity 388 SCU current reference Useful for supplies, event gear, and luxury travel support, but not the main reason to buy the ship or a replacement for dedicated haulers.
Dimensions 210m length / 80m width / 45m height Huge physical presence; not a small-port daily ship.
Medical Facility Tier 2 medical-bed support reference Adds useful emergency support for guests and crew, but the 890 Jump should not be sold as a dedicated medical ship.
Beds 19 current reference Useful passenger, crew, and long-duration luxury travel identity.
Hangar / Boat Bay Small-craft support / 85X package-reference context Supports shuttle-style luxury gameplay, but buyers should check exact package contents, pledge details, and current loaner handling.
Defensive Weapons Defensive turret, PDC, and missile reference Useful for protecting a luxury flagship, but not a replacement for a Polaris, Hammerhead, Idris, or dedicated combat escort.
Core Gameplay Luxury touring, hosting, org flagship, event ship, high-end travel, roleplay, fleet display Best for players who want presence and experience, not simple efficiency.

Note: Star Citizen ship specifications, cargo values, medical mechanics, defensive balance, hangar behavior, and capital-ship systems may change between patches. Treat exact live numbers as current gameplay-reference information rather than permanent final values.

What Makes the 890 Jump Valuable?

The 890 Jump is valuable because it does something most ships cannot: it creates an experience. Many ships can haul cargo. Many ships can fight. Very few ships can host a group, show status, support guests, provide a luxury interior, carry supplies, include medical support, use a smaller runabout, and act as a recognizable flagship.

Its value is not measured only by SCU, DPS, or solo income. The 890 Jump is a prestige ship. It is for players who want the feeling of owning a capital-class luxury yacht. Official Origin material focuses heavily on interior experience: the tri-level atrium, master suite, bar, dining hall, spa, pool, galley, med bay, crew quarters, battle bridge, and boat bay are all part of the ship’s identity.

A clean product-page sentence would be:
The 890 Jump is not the ship you buy because it is the most efficient. It is the ship you buy because no other Origin vessel delivers the same level of luxury, presence, and flagship atmosphere.

That is the core buyer message. The 890 Jump is not for every player, but for the right buyer, it is one of Star Citizen’s more experience-driven ships.

Luxury Touring Gameplay Role

The 890 Jump’s main role is luxury touring and high-end passenger experience. It is designed for players who want more than a cockpit and cargo grid. The ship is built around social space, premium facilities, guest experience, and long-range presence.

In practical gameplay, the 890 Jump fits several roles:

Gameplay Use Why the 890 Jump Fits
Luxury touring The ship is built around comfort, presentation, and premium travel.
Player hosting Large interior spaces make it useful for events, org meetings, roleplay, and social sessions.
Organization flagship Its size and interior make it a natural meeting hub or status vessel.
High-end passenger fantasy Suites, bar, dining, spa, pool, and crew areas create real luxury ship identity.
Emergency support A Tier 2 medical bed gives the ship more support value than a normal touring ship.
Small craft operations The 85X association and boat bay / hangar identity support shuttle-style gameplay.

The 890 Jump should be described as a capital luxury yacht, not a cargo hauler or military capital ship.

Interior and Social Experience

The interior is the biggest reason to buy the 890 Jump. Official Origin material highlights a large atrium, master suite, bar, dining hall, docking plaza, spa, pool, galley, medical bay, crew quarters, and boat bay.

This is where the 890 Jump separates itself from ships like the C2 Hercules, Caterpillar, or Hull C. Those ships may make more economic sense for cargo, but they do not create the same feeling.

A clean product-page sentence:
The 890 Jump is a ship you walk through, show to friends, host inside, and remember — not just a tool for completing one mission loop.

That makes it especially useful for luxury roleplay, customer events, organization ceremonies, screenshots, content creation, and player gatherings.

388 SCU Cargo Capacity

The 890 Jump has a useful storage hold, with current reference data listing 388 SCU of cargo. Official Origin material also describes the storage hold as suitable for supplies for deep-space journeys.

However, the 890 Jump should not be marketed as a cargo-first ship. Its cargo capacity is useful, but it does not make the ship a better cargo choice than dedicated haulers.

A clean product-page sentence:
The 890 Jump can carry meaningful supplies, but buyers should see that cargo space as support for luxury travel, not as the main reason to buy the ship.

For cargo profit, ships like the C2 Hercules, Caterpillar, Hull C, Starlancer MAX, Taurus, or Railen are usually easier to justify.

Medical Support

The 890 Jump has medical support, with current reference data listing one Tier 2 medical bed. Official Origin material describes the medical bay as capable of treating guests and crew for issues ranging from minor to serious.

This makes the 890 Jump more useful than a purely decorative luxury ship. It can support crew, passengers, and events in a way that smaller touring ships cannot.

A safe product-page sentence:
The 890 Jump’s medical bay adds real support value, but it should not be sold as a dedicated medical ship like an Apollo, Cutlass Red, or hospital-focused platform.

The medical bay is a useful feature, but the ship’s core identity remains luxury touring.

Hangar, Boat Bay, and 85X Identity

The 890 Jump has a clear small-craft identity. Current reference material says 890 Jump pledges include an Origin 85X runabout, while the current RSI loaner matrix also lists the 85X under the 890 Jump.

For buyers, this matters because the 890 Jump is huge. A small craft helps the owner and guests move in style when taking the entire yacht down to every location is not practical.

The 890 Jump is best experienced as a flagship supported by smaller craft, not as a ship you use for every small errand.

For store listings, check the exact package. Some listings may include specific extras, insurance, or legacy package contents, while others may be different.

Battle Bridge and Defensive Systems

The 890 Jump is not defenseless. Current reference data lists two manned turrets, remote turrets, seven point-defense cannons, missile racks, and a specialized battle bridge.

That gives the ship defensive credibility. It can respond to threats, protect guests, and survive better than a small civilian ship. But it is still not a dedicated warship.

A safe product-page sentence:
The 890 Jump can defend itself, but its weapons exist to protect a luxury flagship — not to replace a Polaris, Hammerhead, Idris, or dedicated combat escort.

This expectation is important. Buyers who want military combat should compare military ships. Buyers who want status, interior, and luxury should look at the 890 Jump.

Crew Requirements and Operating Expectations

The 890 Jump is a capital-class ship, and current reference data lists 3–8 crew. It has multiple stations, turrets, guest areas, crew quarters, medical support, cargo, and ship-management needs.

A practical 890 Jump crew may include:

Crew Role Purpose
Captain / Pilot Handles navigation, flight, docking, landing, and high-level decisions.
Co-Pilot / Bridge Officer Supports scanning, route management, and ship coordination.
Battle Bridge / Security Lead Coordinates defensive response during threats.
Turret Gunners Operate defensive weapons and protect the ship.
Medical Officer Uses the medical bay for guests and crew.
Host / Steward Roleplay Manages guests, events, and social experience.
Small Craft Pilot Operates the 85X or shuttle craft for local movement.
Escort Wingman Protects the yacht on dangerous routes.
The 890 Jump can be flown by a small crew, but it feels like a real ship when multiple people have roles aboard.

Solo ownership is possible, but solo practicality is not the point.

Solo Gameplay Expectations

The 890 Jump is not a sensible solo daily driver. It is large, expensive, slow to reclaim, slower to move than small ships, and built around crew and guests. Current reference data lists its claim time at 67.5 minutes and expedite time at 22.5 minutes, which reinforces that it is not a quick-use personal runabout.

Solo players can own the 890 Jump, but they should buy it for pride, collection, hosting, and luxury — not because it is the easiest ship to use every day.

For solo practicality, a 400i, 600i, 85X, 300i, C1, Taurus, or Starlancer MAX may make more sense depending on the mission.

Luxury Value vs Practical Value

The 890 Jump is one of the clearest examples of “value depends on what the buyer cares about.”

If the buyer wants:

  • maximum cargo profit, choose a dedicated hauler.
  • maximum combat power, choose a military ship.
  • maximum solo convenience, choose a smaller ship.
  • maximum luxury presence, choose the 890 Jump.
The 890 Jump is not the best tool ship. It is one of Star Citizen’s clearest statement ships.

That is the most honest way to sell it. The buyer should want the ship because of experience, status, roleplay, and ownership satisfaction.

A practical 890 Jump ownership experience is usually about occasion, not efficiency. It is the ship you bring out for an event, a group meeting, a luxury tour, a screenshot session, a roleplay night, or a fleet showcase. Moving it, parking it, defending it, and managing its interior all take more time than using a smaller Origin ship. The cargo hold, medical bay, 85X association, and defensive systems make the ship more complete, but they do not change its main identity: the 890 Jump is a luxury flagship first. In real use, it rewards players who already have practical ships and want a social centerpiece, not players who need one simple ship for every daily task.

Direct Vehicle Comparisons

890 Jump vs 600i

The 600i is the smaller Origin luxury ship. The 890 Jump is the capital-class flagship.

Ship Best For Main Difference
890 Jump Luxury flagship ownership, hosting, capital presence Much larger, more social, more prestigious, and more crew-focused.
600i Explorer / Touring Luxury travel with more manageable size Easier to use, easier to crew, and more practical for smaller groups.

The Phoenix is a luxury variant of the Constellation. The 890 Jump is a full capital yacht.

Constellation Phoenix Smaller luxury touring with utility Easier to fly, easier to use, and more practical for small groups.
Choose the Phoenix if you want luxury inside a practical smaller ship. Choose the 890 Jump if you want the full luxury-yacht fantasy.

890 Jump vs Carrack

The Carrack and 890 Jump are both large, crewed ships, but their purpose is very different.

Ship Best For Main Difference
890 Jump Luxury, hosting, status, social gameplay Built around comfort, presentation, and high-end travel.
Carrack Exploration, expedition, mapping, long-range utility Built for exploration and expedition gameplay.
Choose the Carrack if you want an expedition ship. Choose the 890 Jump if you want a luxury flagship. The Carrack is the more functional explorer. The 890 Jump is the more luxurious social capital ship.

Polaris Military patrol, torpedoes, combat command Built for combat, hangar support, and warship operations.
Choose the Polaris if your goal is combat. Choose the 890 Jump if your goal is luxury presence. Do not sell the 890 Jump as a Polaris replacement. They are not solving the same problem.

890 Jump vs Merchantman

The Banu Merchantman and 890 Jump are both prestige alien / luxury-adjacent ships, but their roles differ.

Ship Best For Main Difference
890 Jump Human luxury yacht, hosting, high-end travel More about private luxury, comfort, and Origin status.
Banu Merchantman Alien commerce, trade, marketplace fantasy More about Banu commercial identity and mobile trading.

Choose the C2 if you want practical transport. Choose the Caterpillar for cargo work. Choose the 890 Jump if you want luxury capital ownership.

890 Jump vs Genesis Starliner

The Genesis Starliner is a passenger transport concept. The 890 Jump is a private luxury yacht.

Ship Best For Main Difference
890 Jump Private luxury ownership and hosting More yacht-like, social, and prestige-focused.
Genesis Starliner Commercial passenger operations Better if the buyer specifically wants airline-style passenger transport.
Choose the Genesis for passenger business fantasy. Choose the 890 Jump for private luxury flagship fantasy.

Cargo, Combat, and Profit Expectations

The 890 Jump can carry cargo and defend itself, but product pages should avoid making it sound like a top profit ship or combat capital. Its 388 SCU storage is useful, and its defensive package is useful for a luxury ship, but the vessel’s real purpose is still luxury touring and status.

The 890 Jump has cargo and weapons, but those systems support the yacht experience rather than define it. For maximum profit, use cargo ships. For maximum combat, use military ships. For maximum luxury, use the 890 Jump.

Explore 890 Jump Upgrade Paths

If you prefer to build toward the 890 Jump from an existing ship, you can view our Star Citizen CCU Upgrades and plan a more flexible Origin luxury, capital ship, or prestige fleet upgrade path over time.

For the 890 Jump specifically, buyers should pay attention to package details, insurance, included extras, and availability, because current reference data lists it as a quantity-limited sale item rather than a normal always-available ship.

600i Explorer / Touring Luxury exploration / touring Smaller and more practical. 890 Jump is the full flagship.

890 Jump Strengths and Limitations

Strategic Strengths Operational Limitations
One of Star Citizen’s clearest luxury and status ships. Not practical as a solo daily driver.
Large interior with atrium, suites, dining, bar, spa, pool, galley, and crew spaces. Interior size can make it slower and more complex to use.
388 SCU storage supports long trips and supplies. Not as efficient as dedicated cargo haulers.
Tier 2 medical bed adds emergency support. Not a dedicated medical ship.
Small-craft identity with 85X association and boat bay / hangar value. Package contents and included extras should be checked carefully.
Defensive turrets, PDCs, missiles, and battle bridge give protection. Not a warship and should still use escorts in dangerous space.
Useful for org events, roleplay, screenshots, and fleet prestige. Value depends heavily on whether the buyer cares about luxury and social gameplay.
Capital-scale presence makes it hard to ignore. Large claim time, crew needs, and operating scale make casual use less convenient.

Who Should Buy the 890 Jump?

The 890 Jump is best for players who want a luxury flagship, not a normal mission ship. It is especially suitable for Origin collectors, organization leaders, event hosts, roleplayers, content creators, luxury fleet owners, and players who want one of the more memorable social interiors in Star Citizen.

It is also a good choice for players who already own practical ships. The 890 Jump works best when it is not forced to do every job alone. Use smaller ships for errands, haulers for profit, fighters for combat, and the 890 Jump for presence, hosting, long-range luxury travel, and flagship moments.

Players who want pure cargo should choose a dedicated hauler. Players who want combat should choose a military capital or heavy combat ship. Players who want solo convenience should choose something smaller. But for players who want full Origin flagship luxury and a true capital yacht experience, the 890 Jump is one of the more direct prestige ships in Star Citizen.

890 Jump FAQ

Is the 890 Jump worth buying in Star Citizen?

What is the main role of the 890 Jump?

How much cargo does the 890 Jump have?

The 890 Jump has 388 SCU of cargo capacity in current reference data. This is useful for supplies and luxury travel, but the ship should not be marketed as a dedicated cargo hauler.
